Fantastic Opportunity: EYFS Teaching Assistant – Wavertree (L15)

  • £13.75 – £14.50 per hour.
  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 6.5 hours per day)
  • Long-term contract (with the potential to become permanent)

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Wavertree (L15) as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.

The Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be a valued member of the school’s highly professional team, working alongside experienced teachers to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for early years pupils. Your role will involve a variety of activities, including phonics support, structured lessons, and free-play learning, all aimed at fostering development and independence. You will play a key part in helping young learners grow, explore, and thrive.

We Are Looking For:

  • A caring and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with young children and understands the unique needs of early years education
  • Previous experience in an educational setting, ideally within the EYFS
  • A positive and patient approach, with strong communication skills
  • An understanding of child development and the ability to tailor activities to suit different learning styles
  • A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
