Contract Type: Temp to perm

Salary: From £110 a day

Job Role: EYFS/KS1 Teacher

Employment Location: Bacup

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly motivated teacher to join a wonderful school in Bacup. Although small in size, the school is warm, welcoming, and deeply rooted in its community. It takes pride in nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love of learning through an inspiring, broad, and engaging curriculum.

We are looking for a committed, fully-qualified, and highly effective teacher who can motivate and support pupils of all abilities, and who thrives as part of a collaborative team.

As a small school with strong expertise in mixed-age teaching, we will ensure the successful candidate receives excellent support. You will also work alongside a full-time teaching assistant.

To be successful you will need to have...

  • The ability to deliver high-quality teaching through whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 learning.
  • A proven track record of excellent classroom practice grounded in a strong understanding of how children learn.
  • A genuine passion for teaching, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and nurture children to achieve their very best.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS/ KS1  curriculum enabling you to build on prior learning and provide appropriate challenge for all pupils.
  • A secure understanding of phonics progression.
  • Experience of continuous provision within a child-initiated learning environment.
  • The ability to lead and guide support staff effectively to ensure consistent, high-quality learning.
  • A desire to contribute to an excellent, supportive team and to model our school values at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
