Full-Time Positions Available
September 2026 Start / Immediate Opportunities
£92–£105 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies)

Teaching Personnel are working with welcoming and supportive primary schools across South West London who are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams in September.

There is flexibility regarding the year group, with opportunities available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 depending on your experience and preferences.

We are looking for passionate individuals who want the consistency, development, and reward of full-time work in nurturing school environments where children's learning, development, and well-being are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role – Full-Time Teaching Assistant

As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence
  • Assisting with classroom preparation, organisation, and resource management
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development
  • Providing additional support for children with SEND where required
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community and working collaboratively with colleagues

We Are Looking For Teaching Assistants Who:

  • Have recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, or similar setting
  • Are seeking full-time, consistent work within primary education
  • Can confidently support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • Are committed to inclusive practice and helping every child reach their potential
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude to school life
  • Are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
