Flexible Supply Work | Full‑Time & Part‑Time Available

Do you love supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey?
Looking for flexible, rewarding work where you can make a real difference without the pressure of long‑term commitment?

Teaching Personnel are expanding our Early Years supply team and are seeking caring, energetic, and nurturing EYFS educators to support a range of lovely schools and early years settings across Mid Cornwall.

With increasing demand in Nursery and Reception, now is a brilliant time to join us.

Why Early Years Educators Choose Supply

Supply work in EYFS offers:

  • Flexibility to work around your life
  • Variety of settings while doing what you love
  • The chance to support children during their most important developmental years
  • Reduced admin compared to permanent roles
  • Opportunities to move into long‑term placements if desired

You’ll be placed in settings that value warmth, consistency, and child‑centred practice.

About the Role

Depending on the setting, you may:

  • Support children aged 0–5 in Nursery or Reception
  • Assist with phonics, early literacy, and number work
  • Support personal, social and emotional development
  • Help create engaging, play‑based learning environments
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups
  • Support transitions, routines, and early independence

Every day is hands‑on, varied, and genuinely rewarding.

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • A Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)
  • An EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • A childcare professional with experience in early years settings

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Warm, patient and nurturing
  • Confident supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing
  • Play‑based and child‑led in your approach
  • Reliable, adaptable and positive
  • Passionate about early childhood development

School or nursery experience is valued — qualifications are welcomed, but the right attitude matters most.

Why Work With Teaching Personnel?

  • Competitive, weekly pay
  • Flexible work to suit your availability
  • A dedicated local consultant (me!) who listens to you
  • Free CPD and safeguarding training
  • Opportunities in both schools and early years settings
  • Simple admin via the myTP app
  • Ongoing support and clear communication

We focus on placing you somewhere you’ll feel comfortable, supported, and valued.
