The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties
• Encouraging positive behaviour and student engagement
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback where appropriate

Requirements

To be considered for these positions, you should have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
