Experienced Behaviour Mentor in Brent

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced behaviour mentor on the behalf of an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School located in Stonebridge.

• Opportunity to work in a 'Good' Primary School with experienced Senior Leadership Team
• Full-time position, term time only
• £60 + per day, depending on experience

About The Role

This is a full-time position providing general support across KS2 and carrying out interventions with pupils who have challenging behaviour. Challenging behaviour includes:

* Not completing class activities set by the Teacher

* Throwing learning equipment around the classroom

* Distracting peers from learning in the classroom

* Leaving the classroom without being dismissed

* Pushing to the front of the queue

The Ideal Candidate

- Team Teach Trained is ideal, but not necessary

- A degree in Psychology or Criminology is ideal, but not necessary

- At least a years experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment

- Good role model with good command of the English Language

- Youth work experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
