We are seeking to employ multiple exam invigilators to assist the exam officer with the administration and supervision of exams on the school site and off site, ensuring all examination board rules are adhered to and securing the examination papers at all times. Your responsibilities will be to invigilate examinations in line with Examination Board and Academy regulations and ensure appropriate atmosphere in the examination room, to optimise students’ performance. Previous experience as an exam invigilator would be useful however is not necessary to be successful!
The hours for this can vary however generally this will be either one or two periods of 8.45–11.30, 11.15-13.30 or 13.15-3.30 per day. You will need to be available between May and June and will need to be able to work on short notice. The role is paid alongside the national living wage, and you will be able to work around your availability throughout the week with the ability to work both full and part time hours!
We work with multiple schools in the area across Southampton to provide them with exam invigilators and are very busy throughout the exam period. We also employ staff for full days of work which would also be available for you as either a teaching assistant or as a cover supervisor. We work across primary and secondary schools as well as special educational needs and behaviour schools so we can find a position for everyone!
