Exam Invigilator – Secondary Schools, Cardiff
Schools across CF5, CF11, CF14, CF15, CF3

Your role:
- Receive JCQ training to confidently perform your duties
- Supervise students during exams, ensuring rules are followed
- Prepare exam rooms and materials
- Support a smooth and fair exam process
Requirements:
- Ability to travel to schools across Cardiff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Two recent teaching references
- Up-to-date CV
- Recent safeguarding training (training can be provided if needed)

We offer full-time and part-time Teaching Assistant roles across mainstream and alternative provision secondary schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas, including Caerphilly, Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Newport, and more.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping teachers create an effective and inclusive classroom environment. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting pupils with additional learning needs and supporting their mental health and emotional well-being
- Supporting classroom teachers with lesson delivery and organization
- Answering student questions and providing both group and one-on-one support
- Helping ensure students understand the material and that the classroom runs smoothly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
