Exam Invigilator – Secondary Schools, Cardiff

Your role:

• Receive JCQ training to confidently perform your duties
• Supervise students during exams, ensuring rules are followed
• Prepare exam rooms and materials
• Support a smooth and fair exam process

Requirements:

• Ability to travel to schools across Cardiff
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Two recent teaching references
• Up-to-date CV
• Recent safeguarding training (training can be provided if needed)

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping teachers create an effective and inclusive classroom environment. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting pupils with additional learning needs and supporting their mental health and emotional well-being
• Supporting classroom teachers with lesson delivery and organization
• Answering student questions and providing both group and one-on-one support
• Helping ensure students understand the material and that the classroom runs smoothly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
