The National Tutoring Programme (NTP) makes high-quality tutoring available to state-maintained schools to help disadvantaged pupils whose education has been affected by school closures.

Currently, we are recruiting for a 3 form entry Primary School in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The school are seeking a passionate candidate that is exceptional in their field, adaptable on the fly, and an overall committed person to work as a paid Literacy Tutor supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils in their reading, writing, and speech.

This role would be ideally suited to a candidate who: Is looking for a rewarding role with a high level of flexibility, has experience teaching KS1-KS2 pupils, knowledge of the national curriculum, experience in running catch up sessions. You must also have access to facilities such as Zoom and or Microsoft teams, as some sessions will be facilitated online via these platforms. Your tutoring sessions will compliment the pupils ongoing class work and fall in line with their learning ability, but still challenge them to achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
