Job Title: English Tutor

£20 - £25 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students in the English language
- Develop customised lesson plans based on individual student needs
- Assist students in improving their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Conduct assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their English proficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an English tutor or teacher
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Proficiency in the English language
Education:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of English language structure, grammar, and syntax
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- TEFL or TESOL certification
- Experience teaching English as a second language
- Experience working with students of different age groups
Working Conditions:
The English Tutor will work in a classroom or tutoring centre setting, interacting with students on a one-on-one basis. The work schedule is typically full-time during regular business hours, with occasional evening or weekend sessions depending on student availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
