Our client Secondary School in Stockport are looking to appoint an English teacher to start within their English department for September 2018. Well respected in the borough as one of the top performing schools this is a great opportunity foe an English teacher coming to the end of a post or looking for a fresh challenge teaching English in a top performing school.

Graded Good by Ofsted in all areas this English positon is full time teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with a future opportunity to deliver English in the colleges vibrant six form.

Currently the school achieves well above regional and national averages with a positive Progress 8 score for it's pupils. Well know for it's excellent management from the Head teacher and senior leadership team the successful English teacher will be provided with a platform to develop through regular CPD training and sharing of good practice within the English department.

Located in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school can be found via the A6 and has local bus and train routes for those on public transport. Large in size with around 1100 pupils the demographics are very traditional and is locate din an affluent area with low levels of pupils eligible for free school meals.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
