I am working on the behalf of a MAT based in the South Derbyshire area who are looking to appoint an English teacher from September with the opportunity to be taken onto a permanent contract.
They are looking for a strong Teacher of English who has a passion for their subject and who is willing to promote exceptional standards of learning by getting involved with departmental meetings and parents evenings.
The English Faculty consists of twenty members of staff, with different specialisms including Literature, Language and Media. Emphasis is placed upon a lively and imaginative display of students' work, providing them with a stimulating environment in which to learn.
The school are an OFSTED rated 'Good' School who boast that 'The Academy's 1:1 iPad programme, particularly referencing strengths in lesson planning and the provision of feedback. Inspectors draw attention to the rapid progress made by all groups of students and they have the view that "this trajectory of improvement will continue in the coming years'.
