English Teacher or NQT - Prestwich

Are you looking to join a supportive and enthusiastic department to take your career as an English Teacher to the next level?

Due to an upcoming gap in the department, our partner school based in Prestwich are looking to appoint a Teacher of English from September 2019. This exciting opportunity is a fixed term contract for the duration of the academic year, with the perfect candidate having the opportunity to earn a permanent contract after the successful completion of the temporary contract.

  • Full time Teacher of English from September 2019
  • Fixed term contract for the duration of the academic year
  • Opportunity for the perfect candidate to earn a permanent contract thereafter
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our partner secondary school is a smaller than average non-selective, mainstream secondary school which is well respected in the local community and currently has fewer than 900 students currently enrolled. Situated close to the M60 motorway and close to a local Metrolink stop, our partner school is easily accessible from a range of areas across Greater Manchester.

As an English Teacher at our partner school in Prestwich you will be joining a department that is committed to maximising the development of every student regardless of ability or background. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching both KS3 and KS4 English language and literature. The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to a variety of different learners including those of low ability, students with SEND complexities and pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds is highly desirable.
