Are you an English NQT or an English teacher seeking a new challenge for the remainder of the academic year?

There is currently an open position in the English department at our client school in Oldham, a large modern school with state of the art facilities and has been described as one of the most improved schools in the country. The school is located a short distance from the hollingwood junction off the M60 ring road, a short distance from South Chadderton tram stop. The school have a strong support structure in place so would be an excellent opportunity for an English NQT seeking their first placement as well as a more experienced teacher seeking a new challenge for the remainder of the academic year.

• Full time position starting ASAP
• MPS/UPS on offer per annum (£23,720 - £39.406)
• Teaching English to KS3 and KS4
• Interviews taking place ASAP

The successful candidate will either be a strong English Teacher with experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 level, or alternatively applications from English NQT's would be considered if they show the determination and potential to become outstanding English Teachers in the future. The role would involve working with a wide variety of age groups so the English teacher must be adaptable in their approach to teaching in an aim to raise attainment across all age groups in the school.
