Calling all Teachers of English!
We have an incredible opportunity for an experience Teacher of English to join a motivated, supportive and forward-thinking staff body at a secondary school in Luton for a full time position in September 2019.

This position requires a Fully Qualified Teacher of English to bring an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated attitude to collaboratively work alongside a specialist staff body. The candidate must be driven to achieve excellence and help students achieve outcomes they thought were not possible.
About the role:
As an English teacher, this is the perfect opportunity for you to captivate students' attention and incorporate interactive learning for this analytical subject. As a core subject, you will have to monitor the development of student's success and be motivated to help students achieve beyond expectations. This valued consistency must be reflected in engaging and effective lessons. In return, the appointed Teacher will feel valued, mentored, challenged and a caring environment in which you can succeed.
The successful candidate must…
- Be confident, passionate and knowledgeable of the current curriculum for English.
- Have a 'can-do', positive attitude
- Value the success of the students, upcoming to the GCSE period
- Have the drive to make a difference
- Confident with classroom management
- Be calm, caring and conscientious
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
To be considered for this role, you will be required to:
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.
