English Teacher - Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a positive and enthusiastic English teacher for a 'good' school based in the South Sheffield area. The school is an average sized school and caters for around 950 students aged 11-16.

  • Full time English teacher required from January 2019 to July 2019
  • Progression opportunities available for the ideal English teacher with permanent contract progression likely to be available
  • Teaching English to Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)

Due to a department restructure the school are open to hiring either experienced or a newly qualified English teacher for the new year in 2019. The successful English Teacher will be required to teach in both Key Stage 3 and GCSE and will have the ability to create and deliver lessons that engage all pupils. The successful English teacher will be join an English department made up from a team of committed and vibrant teachers. They have an aim to ensure all pupils are challenged to achieve there potential which fits in with the vision of the school. A number of the department also work for one of the leading exam boards securing their expertise in different areas of the GCSE exams.

Located in South Sheffield, our client Secondary school can be accessed via the M1 motorway or Chesterfield link road, the school also benefits from good public transport links from the surrounding areas.
