Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment in the UK, are working in partnership with a secondary school in Trafford who are seeking a English Teacher to join them from September 2019.

The English Teacher role will involve teaching English Language and Literature to Key stage 3 and 4 students, with a range of different academic abilities, up to GCSE level. Teaching the English AQA Curriculum, so previous experience teaching the AQA curriculum is desirable.

• Full time English Teacher required from September 2019
• Permanent gap in the department, although temporary contract at first
• 'Outstanding', Ofsted rated school
• Teaching English Literature and Language up to GCSE level
• Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

The ideal candidate should have:

• evidence of good quality teaching and subject knowledge
• an understanding of how to use assessment to inform planning for excellent teaching and learning
• the ability to differentiate materials to meet the needs of the learners
• evidence of good behaviour management skills
• a willingness to contribute to enrichment activities
• experience teaching all three disciplines of Science up to KS4 (although there is an opportunity to teach within specialism at GCSE level)
