English Teacher – West Hampstead

A Catholic secondary school are recruiting in the English department for a teacher with experience teaching English literature or language up to key stage 5. Teaching Personnel are recruiting full qualified teachers for client schools throughout London and this specific client school are seeking an English teacher available to travel to West Hampstead for a full time position.

Teaching Personnel are working with schools around London, and have a recruitment partnership with the Southwark and Brentwood Catholic Diocese, and many others around the country. As such Teaching Personnel have a strong relationship with the Catholic school in question, and as a result have several teaching opportunities available.

  • Full Qualified English teacher with a PGCE or QTS
  • Salary inline with the Inner London MPS/UPS pay scale (GBP28,660 – GBP49,571)
  • Full time teaching position starting in September 2020 (with an option to go permanent for the 2020/2021 academic year)
  • Catholic secondary school in West Hampstead, consistently been graded ‘good’ by Ofsted for the past 10 years

The successful English teacher will hold a UK recognised teaching qualification and have experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 to KS5). Teachers will have the following benefits;

The Hampstead based Catholic school is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted and prides itself on a high standard of education. The English department consistently produces the best results of all subjects at the school and the Head of English is looking for an English teacher with a passion for teaching. A strong subject knowledge is the most sought after character of a teacher, but the senior leadership would like to meet a teacher who is creative with their English lessons.

All Pay rates quotes will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
