English Teacher

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic English Teacher or English NQT to join the strong and supportive English department at an Ofsted graded ‘good’ school in Oldham. This would be a great opportunity for any English NQT seeking more experience or for an existing English Teacher seeking a new challenge for the remainder of this academic year.

-          Full time English Teaching post

-          Working within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school in Oldham

-          Paid in line with teaching scale point and responsibilities (MPS/UPS)

The successful candidate will either be a strong English Teacher with experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 level, or alternatively applications from English NQT’s would be considered if they show the determination and potential to become outstanding English Teachers in the future. The role would involve working with a wide variety of age groups so the English teacher must be adaptable in their approach to teaching in an aim to raise attainment across all age groups in the school.

The school have a strong existing English department with excellent development and support measures in place, meaning the successful candidate will have full support in becoming a success in the school and be offered realistic progression opportunities. The school have been rated ‘Good with Outstanding features’ by Ofsted and have state of the art facilities in place, making it a pleasant place for an NQT to gain experience or for an existing experienced English Teacher to further their career in a secondary environment.
