Exciting opportunity to aid pupils’ attainment within the English department of a large secondary school in Bolton.

-          Part-time English teacher.

-          Required from September 2021 until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

-          Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

-          Full planning and marking responsibilities.

-          Both experienced and newly qualified English teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.

-          Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum).

-          Secondary school looking for ambitious staff to help improve overall student attainment.

Our client school has recently been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for its recent development in performance tables alongside good GCSE results. The school is equipped with modern facilities and has around 900 pupils on roll.

The successful English teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated English lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.

Our client school is located in Bolton and can be accessed via the M61 and A58 from surrounding areas such as Salford and Bury. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from areas such as Worsley, Farnworth and Prestwich.
