"The behaviour of the pupils is good. They are polite, courteous and respectful to teachers"- (Ofsted, 2017)

Due to an upcoming staffing gap within our client schools English department, the Headteacher of our partner secondary school now wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and self driven English teacher to join their department in September 2019. It is crucial that applicants wishing to join our secondary school in September have a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level or a will to stretch the learning capabilities of all their students.

A love and passion for the subject is instilled by enthusiastic teachers who strive to provide the pupils with the best possible learning opportunities. The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and vibrant department led by an experienced and popular head of department who is forward thinking.

This is a full time post required to start from September 2019 and is initially a temporary contract on a 12 month basis.

Our partner secondary school caters for over 900 pupils and is highly regarded within the local area. During the schools most recent Ofsted inspection in 2017, leadership was identified as a particular strength of the school as well as strong leadership and exemplary pupil behaviour.

This is a well facilitated and newly built secondary academy in the heart of Wigan, situated in close to Orrell with excellent public transport links. The school is also easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Bolton, Leigh, Salford, Golborne and Standish.

The Head teacher and Head of English are looking to meet with interested candidates at the earliest convenience. For immediate consideration, please send your full CV to the Manchester West Secondary Branch via the link below or call the office on 0161 242 1799 for further information.
