Our client secondary school in the Warrington area is looking for a full time English teacher to cover a maternity leave due to start on Monday 6th January. This full time English teaching position is to continue for the remainder of the academic year with the successful English teacher being required to teach across both English Language and Literature up to GCSE level. The school follows the Eduqas specification but specific experience of teaching this syllabus is not essential.

The school are looking for an English teacher that is a subject specialist of any experience whether it be newly qualified or further along their teaching career. The school is one of choice for parents and students alike making it highly sought after and as a result have high expectations of the prospective English teacher.

Highlights of this English teaching position:

  • Full time English teacher required: KS3 and KS4 Eduqas syllabus
  • Pay will be dependent upon payscale and experience; following the teacher payscale:GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum
  • Payrolled on a supply basis via Teaching Personnel for the 2 terms maternity leave

The English department is a large department with a large team of English teachers made up of a head of department and second in department along with 3 NQTs and more experienced teachers. The school is always open to teachers of all experience levels as long as they appointed English teacher is passionate about their subject and confident in teaching up KS4, GCSE with some year 11 classes.

This is an excellent secondary school located in Warrington with a fantastic reputation. The school is located a short walk journey away from the local train station and very well serviced by local buses. The A56, M6 and M62 are also nearby making the school accessible for those travelling by car. The school also has a large secure on site car park on site as well as fantastic facilities which are accessible to staff and students alike.
