Job description

Full-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive school community in Camberley. This is a full-time, term-time position supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across a range of abilities.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

  • Support students with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, or SEMH

  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Monitor and record student progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)

  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

  • Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
