Job description

SEN Teaching Assistants (Full-Time Opportunities)

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive and inclusive school settings in Windlesham. These roles involve working closely with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and other additional needs

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons

  • Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable)

  • Is patient, adaptable, and calm under pressure

  • Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive education

  • Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
