New opportunity to join an established secondary school near Salford with a recent track record of excellent GCSE results.

  • Full-time English teacher.
  • Required from January 2021 on an ongoing basis.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum).

Our client school has been noted for their welcoming staff community alongside the excellent reputation it has built over the years with strong support to provide staff with the most efficient teaching methods. Both experienced and newly qualified English teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided. You must have QTS and experience teaching English up to GCSE level to be considered.

The successful English teacher will be expected to;

  • Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated English lessons to meet the needs of pupils at various levels of learning.
  • Assess and evaluate classwork and homework.
  • Teach a full English timetable across Key Stage 3 and GSCE.
  • Take on full planning and marking responsibilities.

Our client school is located between Salford and Bolton and can be accessed via the M60 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Worsley, Prestwich and Leigh. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas such as Worsley, Farnworth and Swinton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
