English Teacher or English NQT - September start date

  • Full time English teaching position, September 2019 start or sooner if possible.
  • Full timetable of KS3 and GCSE English classes
  • Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking are required
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (ÂŁ23,720 - ÂŁ39,406 per annum)

There is currently an open vacancy for a teacher of English or newly qualified teacher of English for a full time position in the upcoming academic year. Working within an Ofsted graded 'good' school in Brighton, the successful candidate will be confident teaching English to KS3 and GCSE level and show passion in teaching the subject.

The school is graded 'good' by Ofsted and require a high quality teacher of English or NQT to continue their traditions of delivering high results and upholding a strong reputation in the community. Located a short distance from the train station, the school has state of the art facilities and a strong support structure set in place for the incoming English teacher or newly qualified teacher of English.

'Due to expansion in our department we require a strong English teacher to join our team and continue our record of success, although we do welcome applications for English NQT's, with full support given for any NQT who applies and is successful. This is a full time position with the incoming teacher being fully capable of teaching English to KS3 and KS4 level.
