English Teacher

Are you a passionate teacher of English looking for a full time position at an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Plymouth?

On behalf of this local school, Teaching Personnel is seeking a well qualified English Teacher to start in January 2020 and will continue until the end of the academic year. Due to its rapid growth, there are lots of opportunities at this school, especially for the successful candidate. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have QTS
• Be a passionate and motivating English teacher. Experienced in teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4, key stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential
• Manage a class of students and have excellent behaviour management – strong relationship building is also very important
• Work in collaboration with an established, supportive and friendly English department
• Plan, prepare and mark students lessons and work and also attend events such as parents evening
