We are currently seeking intervention staff for schools in the Manchester area to deliver 'Catch Up' tuition. The needs of pupils you will be working with will vary from pupil to pupil. Some of the children you will be working with, may have additional needs but many will be required to have tailored lesson plans to help bridge the gap in their learning.
Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.
Working hours can be anywhere from 8.30am-3.30pm - Monday to Friday, some schools may even require yo to deliver tuition after school.
The candidate
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing and resilient personality, and be able to work on their own initiative in regards to ensuring that health and safety procedures are met, and the welfare of the children. You will ideally have experience of working on a 1:1 with a variety of ability levels, from GCSE to Functional Skills. The ideal candidate will need a proven track record in teaching, and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will forge strong relationships with pupils and staff and liase with all parties involved to ensure learning objectives are met.

You will be provided with your own specialist consultant who will take care of your needs and advise you through the clearing and work process. You will have access to free safeguarding training and an online diary so you can manage your work times more efficiently. You will also have access to our CPD Academy, in which you will be able to attend training courses in order to aid your personal development in your career.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
