Teaching Personnel are and education recruitment agency and we are currently looking for Qualified Teachers! We have a vacancy for an English Teacher to start from September with the option of a trial period before the end of the academic year. The role is within the Leicester area and would be  temporary contract with the view of potentially leading to a full time position for the right Teacher. You must have QTS (ECT's will also be considered). 

A successful candidate will be able to plan and deliver high quality pre-prepared English lessons for students across Key stage 3-4. You will need to have an English based background and have a proven track record of providing high standards across previous roles. The School has a strong well established team of staff and are looking for an enthusiastic positive person to join their welcoming environment within the school. The role is ideally Full time however, we may be able to accommodate part time hours for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons for Key Stage 3 & 4 students
• Support and monitor the progress of all students in the class
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on student progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ideas
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students

Requirements:
• UK-recognised QTS and right to work in the UK
• Experience teaching up to GCSE English
• Child Workforce DBS check on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and Literature
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
