Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field
  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Relevant teaching experience, preferably at secondary level or above
  • Proficiency in delivering engaging lessons
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and reporting on their academic performance.
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and address any concerns or challenges.

This role is paid to scale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
