Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and committed English Tutors to support students in Hucknall and wider Nottinghamshire, helping them build confidence and improve their reading, writing, and communication skills.

Whether you're a qualified teacher or an experienced private tutor, this is your opportunity to make a real difference—one student at a time.

Your Role:

• Deliver focused 1:1 or small group English tuition

• Support with reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and exam skills

• Tailor your teaching to meet individual learning needs

• Help students grow in confidence and become independent learners

• Track and report on progress with clear, constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience tutoring or teaching English (Key Stage 2–4 or beyond)

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) – preferred

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
