English Teacher- Dorchester

Start date: January 2026

Contract: Full-time

A Vibrant and diverse secondary school in Dorchester is seeking a fully qualified English teacher, to support their GCSE students.  Teaching personnel want to collaborate with an experienced English teacher to inspire and educate the next generation of students.

What we are looking for:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in English literature and language.
  • A strong subject knowledge and experience in English.
  • A positive and conscientious educator.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
  • Strong rapport and ability to build relationships with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
