English Teacher – September 2025 Start (or Sooner)

Are you a passionate and resilient English Teacher ready to inspire young minds?

A school in the Devizes area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join their team from September 2025 – with potential for an earlier start.

This is a full-time, term-time position working with students aged 7–16.

You’ll be delivering creative and accessible English lessons to students, so the ability to adapt your teaching style and build strong relationships is key.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated English lessons across KS2–KS4

  • Support students with behavioural and communication needs

  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with support staff 

  • Track progress and provide consistent pastoral support

 

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has QTS or relevant secondary teaching experience

  • Can manage behaviour calmly and effectively

  • Is passionate about making education accessible for all

  • Brings creativity and flexibility to lesson planning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
