Are you an empathetic and resilient teacher with a passion for supporting students who’ve experienced barriers to learning?

We are seeking a Qualified Teacher to join several exceptional specialist settings in Salisbury, working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex learning difficulties.

Across these inclusive schools, you’ll find welcoming environments where staff are valued, individual student progress is celebrated, and every day brings an opportunity to make a real difference.

Whether working with pupils in therapeutic, behaviour-focused or tailored SEN settings, you’ll play a key role in helping young people build trust, gain confidence, and succeed.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching primary or secondary-aged pupils with SEMH and/or SEN needs

  • Delivering personalised, differentiated lessons to meet a wide range of abilities

  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and engagement

  • Collaborating with skilled support staff and wider multidisciplinary teams

  • Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment

 

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS and experience or strong interest in SEMH/SEN education

  • A patient, creative, and flexible teaching style

  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

  • A genuine commitment to inclusive learning and pupil development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
