English Teachers Wanted – Carlton, Nottingham

Inspire a love of English with TP Tutors

Do you have a passion for English and a talent for helping students unlock their potential? At TP Tutors, we provide personalised one-to-one and small-group tuition, supporting learners who need that extra boost to achieve success.

We’re now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated English teachers to deliver tailored, inspiring lessons in Carlton and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach engaging English lessons that cover key skills in reading, writing, and comprehension

  • Adapt sessions to reflect each student’s learning style, confidence level, and goals

  • Simplify challenging topics to build understanding and enjoyment of English

  • Provide constructive feedback to encourage progress after every lesson

  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies

Who You Are

  • Confident in your knowledge of the English curriculum (KS3, GCSE, or A-Level)

  • Experienced in supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs

  • Patient, creative, and adaptable in your teaching approach

  • A strong communicator who can motivate and inspire learners

  • Up to date with safeguarding training

  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
