We’re seeking committed and experienced English Teachers to deliver tailored tuition in Arnold and across the wider Nottingham area.

About the Role

This rewarding role gives you the chance to support students outside the classroom, delivering engaging English tuition in learners’ homes or local community venues.

You’ll design and deliver lessons that meet individual needs, helping learners build skills in reading, writing, comprehension, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English tuition (1:1 or small groups)

• Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

• Break down challenging topics to build confidence and understanding

• Provide constructive feedback after each session

• Comply with safeguarding and child protection policies

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum

• Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs

• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

• A patient, empathetic, and flexible teaching style

• Up-to-date safeguarding training

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
