The Teaching Personnel Secondary team are working in partnership with an outstanding independend secondary school in Islington who are on the lookout for a passionate and ambitious English Early Career Teacher (ECTs) to join their dynamic team.
Position: English Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Start Date: September 2024
Location: Islington, north London
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting the academic and personal development of students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expecting to achieve it by September.
- A degree in History or a related subject.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing student potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
