NQT of English for September 2021

Chichester

Full time, fixed term contract initially

Temporary to permanent

The school based in the West Sussex area are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and passionate NQT of English to join their very experienced English Faculty, led by a well regarded department lead. It is an exciting time for any NQT to join this school; you will join not only a growing school, but an academy trust who have a firm commitment to your continual professional development and exceptional NQT programme to ensure you flourish into your career as a Teacher.

The post is to deliver both the KS3 and KS4 curriculum for English with opportunity to begin to develop your A Level teaching practice. At GCSE the school teaches from the AQA specification for English Language and Literature where students specifically study Shakespear and the 19th Century Novel, Explorations in Creative Reading and Writing and Writers’ Viewpoints and Perspectives. The school also offers an inclusive extra curricular programme as well as targeted catch up and tuition sessions of which you would be expected to fully immerse yourself into.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
