The school is seeking an ambitious and dedicated English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in their English studies, both in the classroom and through small group or 1:1 interventions.

• Assisting teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management.

• Helping pupils develop literacy, comprehension, and written communication skills.

• Working with students who may require additional support to boost confidence and academic progress.

• Supporting the wider English department with resources, displays, and enrichment activities.

• Gaining valuable classroom experience that would be ideal for a future career in teaching.

Ideal Candidate:

• A recent English graduate with a genuine passion for literature and language.

• Enthusiastic, approachable, and confident in working with secondary-age students.

• A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills.

• Patient, flexible, and willing to adapt to different learning styles and classroom dynamics.

• Looking to gain first-hand experience before pursuing teacher training.
