English Lang/Lit graduate teaching assistant – Bury

  • Radcliffe, Bury primary school (M26)
  • Full time position available
  • GBP285 - GBP300 a week
  • 18th November 2019

Teaching Personnel is working with a large Radcliffe, Bury (M26) primary school, looking for an English Lang/Lit graduate to support theKS1 team, delivering small group sessions to raise attainment to develop language acquisition and development.

The school has identified gaps within Key Stage 1in reading, grammar and punctuation and want a graduate with a specialism in English Language/Literature who can use their subject knowledge to support pupils in small group sessions and on a 1:1 basis to close the gaps within the classroom.

Successful applicants should:

  • Have a degree/specialism in English
  • Have a real passion for learning
  • Be approachable and friendly
  • Have strong communication skills

Successful applicant’s will enjoy a friendly environment with excellent facilities in this previously graded ‘Good’ school which not only focuses on the development on the pupils but has an emphasis on integrating and developing the teachers in their pursuit of excellence.
