Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Boston who seek to hire an English teacher for a permanent contract. Initially temporary in the first instance to become permanent, this post is open to both newly qualified and experienced English teachers looking for their position , this is a mixed secondary school on the outskirts of Boston with Ofsted rating of 'good' in their last inspection.
- English teacher (newly qualified or experienced teachers can apply)
- Modern and well facilitated secondary school in Boston
- Temporary one year contract (in the first instance)
- Located in Boston, Ofsted 'good' for behaviour and leadership
- MPS/UPS to match experience (proof of UPS required if hired)
The English department are looking for a talented English teacher to join their team and improve results over the next 12 months, teaching KS3 and GCSE English to pupils of varying ability levels with full support from the department (NQT induction year support given). You will ideally be an English teacher with strong subject knowledge and a firm presence in the classroom, the school has a high number of pupils eligible for pupil premium and makes excellent use of the funding available, behaviour on the whole is good but some pupils need to be challenged and stretched to reach their individual targets.
