We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and equip them with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and confidence needed for successful futures in engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging engineering lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Teach theoretical and practical aspects of engineering in line with curriculum requirements.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Support students in developing technical, problem-solving, and employability skills.
- Maintain a safe and well-organised classroom/workshop environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external stakeholders to enhance the student experience.
- Support students with progression into apprenticeships, higher education, or employment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A qualification in Engineering (HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent).
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
- Experience working within the engineering industry and/or teaching engineering.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, mechanical, electrical, or fabrication disciplines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
