Early Years Teaching Assistant Required in Farnworth

2 Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant required.

Grade 5 - £11,352 - £13,331 per annum. £9.50 - £11.15 per hour.

28 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year.

Do you hold a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent? Do you have a real passion for making a difference in pupil's lives? Are you experienced working across an Early Years setting?

If so, due to an increase in pupil numbers, a larger than average sized primary school located in the Farnworth area, is currently looking to appoint two enthusiastic, engaging and passionate teaching assistant to work within their Early Years setting. The role will be a full time position, 33 hours a week and will be to start from Easter 2019. The school has a very supportive network in place for both staff and pupils in order to allow them to achieve their pupil potential. The school does have pupils who come from a range of backgrounds and have a range of different needs, however ensure that each individual is provided with the right support to enable them to succeed with staff working together in order to support one another to achieve the best possible outcomes for each other and the pupils, therefore providing the school with a real 'family feel' to it.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a real passion to make a difference in pupil's lives.
  • Have previous experience of working across a Early Years
  • Have a strong knowledge of phonics.
  • Be a strong communicator and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Have a good level of maths and English.
  • Have experience supporting pupils on a full class, small group and 1:1 basis.
  • Be adaptable and flexible.
  • Have a calm and nurturing approach.
  • Have effective behaviour management strategies that you are able to implement.
