Early Years Teaching Assistant (Kensington) - start ASAP

One of our beautiful Nursery/Pre Prep schools located in Notting Hill are actively looking to appoint an additional staff member their growing Early Years team.

The role :

You will be working on a general level providing support to the Teachers and Early Years Educators within different areas of the Nursery (children from 1 to 5 year olds). A good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential as well as a friendly, driven, patient and compassionate personnality. The school is willing to provide the adequate support and training for the right candidate, and are therefore open to considering applications from candidates with minimal experience but who are willing to build a career in education.

This is a long-term position, 5 days per week (8:30am to 4:30pm with a morning, lunch and afternoon break) term time. The ideal candidate must have previous school based and/or tutoring/nannying related experience. Any certificates, diplomas or other qualifications related to a Education and/or Special Educational Needs are desirable (but not compulsory).

What else?

- You must be in possession of an up-to-date CHILD WORKFORCE DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one (full assistance provided).

- We are only able to accept applications from UK residents with a proven right to work in the UK. You must living in London and/or have plans to move to London in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Kensington.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
