Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner looking to work full time in a Primary School EYFS department? If so, then read on and apply!

 

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for qualified Nursery Practitioners/Nursery Nurses to work in a primary school EYFS department at primary schools in Canvey Island and Basildon, Essex. We are recruiting for a number or roles that start ASAP with a view to a permanent position at the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with Cache Level 2 or 3 in Early Childhood Studies, degrees in Early Childhood Studies, or with experience in working in private nurseries or mainstream schools seeking a new role.

The school is looking for passionate EYFS practitioners to provide care for children up to seven years old, assisting in many aspects of their daily lives, through social, emotional, educational and practical interaction, nurturing and guidance.  Helping to oversee, maintain and organise a clean, tidy, child-friendly environment, you will supervise activities, such as messy play, crafts, cooking, reading and outdoor/physical pursuits!

As a nursery practitioner you may also be involved with the planning, observation and recording of pupils progress to help inform parents and carers about their child’s day.

Please apply if

  • You are passionate about supporting children, especially those in the Early Years Department
  • Good levels of written and spoken English
  • Level 2 qualified as a minimum
  • Able to use own initiative and flexible can-do attitude
