Early Years Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Doncaster who are looking for a L3 Early Years Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running as soon as possible on a full time basis. 

Our ideal Teaching Assistant will already have experience working within either a Private Nursery or an Early Years setting. You will be able to conduct observations, creating 'in the moment' planning to get the best out of the children you are working with. You will be able to communicate well with the class teacher, identifying any gaps in learning and running small group interventions to raise attainment and bridge these gaps. With the new January intake, there may be children joining the setting with poor Literacy skills, requiring tailored Speech and Language interventions and sometimes personal care. A good knowledge of phonics would be beneficial for this role. 

Our ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant: 

• L3 qualified 
• Good knowlege of the Early Years Curriculum
• Experience conducting observations 
• Knowledge of phonics 
• Happy to conduct interventions (speech and language)
