Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Fleetwood to recruit an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support in their Early Years Foundation Stage setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping young learners thrive during their first experiences of school.

The Role:
You will work as a general EYFS TA, supporting the whole class with day-to-day learning and routines. A key part of your role will also be to assist a new cohort of children who need additional support with speech and language development and help them settle confidently into school life.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, and is expected to continue for the full academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support within the EYFS setting

• Assist pupils with communication and language development, including small group and 1:1 interventions

• Help children adapt to the school environment and routines

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support pupil progress

• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere

About You:

• Experience working with EYFS children in a school or nursery setting

• Knowledge of speech and language support strategies is highly desirable

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or EYFS qualification) are advantageous
