Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified) – Swansea Area (SA6)
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time
Contract: Through Teaching Personnel
About the Role
A welcoming and community-focused primary school in the SA6 area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their Flying Start provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality early education and care to young children.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years team to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can grow, explore, and develop the foundations for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Phase (EYFP)
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Observe and record children’s progress in line with school and local authority requirements
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential)
- Experience working within an Early Years or Flying Start setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing and proactive approach to child development
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
