Early Years Practitioner
Teaching Personnel are representing a pre-school in South Sheffield that are in search of an experienced nursery nurse or early years practitioner!
The position will commence in January and is part-time (approx. 20 hours a week).
Pay Rate: GBP60-80/day (dependent on experience)
Start date: January 4th 2021
Essential Requirements:
- Applicants MUST have a full and relevant Early Years Qualification (Minimum Level 2)
- Applications MUST also have recent experience in an early years setting
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervising children as they play
- Designing and organising engaging activities for children
- Monitoring and assessing progression
- Maintaining an inclusive classroom environment
- Working in alignment with the schools safeguarding and disciplinary procedures
Successful applications will be asked to apply for a DBS certification on the update service. This will involve a one off payment of GBP40 followed by an annual fee of GBP13. Please note that DBS certification is a requirement for all positions in childcare settings, therefore this is an essential requirement.
