Early Years Practitioner
Job description
We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and supporting children’s development in a safe, nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. You will help create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore and grow.
This role is ideal for someone who is committed, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education, while building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assist with daily routines, activities, and observations
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A caring, patient, and reliable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A clear DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
